Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Controller to join our finance team. The Controller will play a key role in overseeing all aspects of financial management, including accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles, excellent leadership and communication skills, and the ability to drive continuous improvement initiatives within the finance department.

Responsibilities:

· Manage all aspects of the accounting department, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll.

· Ensure timely and accurate preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.

· Oversee the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.

· Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

· Manage cash flow and working capital to optimize liquidity and support business operations.

· Coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors to ensure compliance with statutory requirements and timely completion of audits and tax filings.

· Provide financial leadership and guidance to department managers and executives to support business objectives and drive performance improvements.

· Identify opportunities for process optimization and automation to streamline financial operations and improve efficiency.

· Stay current on industry trends, accounting standards, and regulatory changes to ensure compliance and best practices.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA designation preferred, but not required.

· At least 10 years of progressive experience in accounting and finance roles, with 5 years in a supervisory or managerial capacity.

· Thorough understanding of GAAP and financial reporting requirements.

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

· Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel; experience with ERP systems preferred.

· Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
