AA Driver Training Center is Hiring a Medical Front Desk Receptionist Near Flushing, NY

Job Summary:
We are seeking a Medical Receptionist to join our healthcare facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling front desk reception and administrative duties.

Essential Job Functions

  • Assist patients with questions regarding selecting Durable Medical Equipment product ( much as gloves, masks, alcohol's pads etc). Communicate with patient regarding coverage and patient responsibility.
  • Organize and distribute DME products.
  • Handling the calls.
  • Reviewing the DME schedule for all proper documents, authorizations.
  • Willing to learn the rules and regulations for paperwork and dispensing DME in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with the other teams to ensure excellent patient care
  • Obtain authorizations for all DME, if needed

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor degree or above
  • Certified Medical Assistant (preferred)
  • Previous management experience in a medical setting
  • Previous training experience in a medical setting (preferred)
  • Previous clinical special project management (preferred)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
