FOIA Business Analyst

A3 Consulting, LLC is looking for a FOIA Business Analyst to demonstrate flexibility and eagerness to learn new processes and applications. The candidate will support a US State Department software product team as a business analyst, an application tester (manual and possibly automated), and Tier 3 Helpdesk Support.
In this job you will:
Support the software product team in identifying baseline functionality and performing periodic regression testing on new versions/releases.
Interact with end-users on potential software issues or bugs.
Determine whether a software issue is a unique instance or indicative of a system-wide bug. This requires root-cause analysis.
Document issues, bugs, and change requests while maintaining accurate records.
Test and maintain applications in various environments.
Assist with writing and maintaining configuration documentation.
Create and provide training for system end-users.
Participate in application outreach efforts.
Liaise with other IT personnel for problem resolution.
Utilize the ServiceNow ticketing system for tracking and documentation purposes.
Willingness to take on new tasks as they arise.
Adapt to changing priorities.
Qualifications for the role:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
Minimum 3-5 years of experience.
Candidates should possess experience and proficiency in software application testing, employing a variety of methodologies, tools, and techniques.
Proven ability to lead and mentor testing teams, ensuring high-quality deliverables through effective communication and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Working knowledge of one or more of the following: Exchange, SQL Server, and SharePoint
Strong independent problem-solving abilities
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team.
Flexible and able to respond quickly to constantly changing priorities while working on multiple projects.
Willingness to adapt roles based on product demands.
Ability to contain the drive from within to perform well and work effectively.
Willingness to learn and implement new technologies.
Ability to train others, with a spectrum of technical capabilities, how to use new and existing applications.
Familiarity with the use and distinctions of Development (DEV), Testing (TEST), and Production environments
Security Clearance:
Must have an active US Government Secret Clearance with Top-Secret eligibility.
Salary range:
The salary range of this position is $100,000-$115,000, commensurate with experience and achievement.
