A3 Consulting, LLC is looking for an Alation Team Scrum to oversee our Alation Data Catalog. This candidate should have experience and knowledge of working with an agile team.
In this job you will:
Facilitate agile scrum ceremonies, such as daily standup, planning, retrospectives, and reviews with the product owner, development team members, and relevant stakeholders to ensure that planned work is well-defined, articulated, understood, and delivered.
Collaborate with product team members to create and manage backlog items.
Coordinate with Department security and governance boards to ensure ongoing compliance with Department standards and mandates.
Responsible for coordination across partner scrum teams, including collaboration with other scrum masters and development teams.
Manage requirements and create user stories with input from the technical team members, the customer, and partner teams.
Coordinating tasks include tracking delivery, implementation, and ensuring operations and security protocols, policies, and procedures are followed for compliance.
Responsible for the quality, content, and prompt delivery of all tasks and contractual deliverables associated with the project.
Instruct, guide, and mentor team members in using Microsoft Azure DevOps for planning and tracking platform work.
Coach a continuous improvement mindset and recommend adjustments to established delivery practices.
Ability to identify, articulate, and escalate risks and issues and track them towards resolution with required stakeholders.
Collaborate with the Product Owner and Product Team, ensure cohesion and coordination, and address and resolve risks and issues.
Interface and communicate with key stakeholders in a professional, business-oriented setting.
Qualifications for the role:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
Minimum 5 years of experience.
Understanding and experience in agile methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban
Proficiency in working with Alation or similar data intelligence platforms, understanding its features and capabilities.
A solid understanding of data management concepts, data governance, and data cataloging is essential for effectively managing Alation Data Intelligence projects.
Experience using Microsoft Azure DevOps or similar tools.
Experience and understanding working in an information technology environment.
Excellent oral and written communication skills, with an ability to communicate complex technical topics to management and business stakeholders.
Experience developing technical briefs and presenting at the executive level.
Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements, priorities, and timeliness in a fast-paced environment.
Desired Qualifications
Certifications such as Scrum Master, Product Owner, and/or Project Management Professional
Security Clearance:
Must have an active US Government Secret Clearance with Top-Secret eligibility.
Salary range:
The salary range of this position is $130,000-$140,000, commensurate with experience and achievement.
