A2D Academy is a small local nonprofit in Edina MN that teaches the love of Arts and Education to students in Kindergarten through 5th grade.
We are seeking Licensed Elementary Teachers to teach a few of our summer camps. Summer camps are STEAM based and centered around a theme.
Teachers have the option to simply teach off of lesson plans predesigned for them ($28 an hour) or create and cultivate their own lesson plans based of a general class description of the class ($40). Teachers will have between 8-25 students in the camp with an assistant teacher. All supplies are bought and provided by A2D Academy. Camps are primarily indoor within our suite, but an outside field is available for outdoor learning/play time as well.
The camps in which we are looking to hire a teacher to teach are as follows:
Edible Science: June 10-13 (Monday-Thursday) ; 8:00am-1:30pm
Learning about the layers of earth, space, buoyancy, rocks and alternative energies has never been so fun and TASTY. Come build an edible mars rover, undercover earth’s surface by making edible dirt samples, create a smore’s solar powered oven or learn about density with layered lemonade. Spend each day doing hands-on science experiments and enjoy eating the fruits of your learning.

Soy Camp: July 15-18 (Monday-Thursday); 8:00am - 1:30pm
