We currently have an opportunity for a Senior Salesforce Developer (eCommerce) to join our team located at our Ascena NYC Corp Office-ascena-New York, NY 10036. Position Overview: Reports to: eCommerce Delivery Manager Ascena is looking for a skillful, forward-thinking Salesforce eCommerce Sr. Developer for it’s Salesforces eCommerce Platform. Typically works on multiple mediums to large eCommerce projects and contribute to design, develop, and deliver eCommerce solution. Additionally, will be required to provide guidance to production support engineers to resolve critical P1/P2 eCommerce Incident. Specifically, Salesforce Sr. Developer will be responsible for Design and write code using salesforce scripting language (front end and back end code) that satisfy the functional and technical requirements for ecommerce implementation projects. Has experience and skills in systems analysis, design and a solid understanding of development, quality assurance and commerce integration methodologies for salesforce. Works closely with customers, business analysts, and onshore and offshore team members to understand business requirements and drive the analysis and design of quality eCommerce technical solutions. These solutions must be aligned with business and IT strategies and comply with the organization’s architectural standards. Provide consultation on complex projects and is the top-level contributor/specialist. Actively involved in triaging and supporting production incidents and operations issues as it relates to salesforce eCommerce solutions. Support (Production Support) existing systems to meet Service Level Agreements and user expectations including user communication, system/job recoveries, system/job performance and documentation. Assist in developing design and coding standards, guidelines, and industry best practices for salesforce eCommerce technologies. Responsible for leading, reviewing and accepting vendor delivered salesforce solution. Makes sure vendor is delivering eCommerce solution based on ascena standards and quality. Responsible for developing POCs and setting examples on how a complex solution can be developed using Salesforce eCommerce technologies. Required Skills, Experience, Competencies Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field. Or equivalent work experience. Typically has 7 to 10 years of work experience in eCommerce technologies and solutions The candidate needs to possess solid “salesforce eCommerce hands-on” technical, an excitement and energy for product development, and a passion for their work and the impact it has on meeting the needs of customer Must have knowledge of salesforce eCommerce SFRA framework and understand the inner workings of it. Should have developed and troubleshoot issues as it relates to SFRA framework Must have deep functional understanding of salesforce eCommerce Business manager tool and should have used it in developing, configuring, and deploying components using the business manager tool Must have deep understanding and experience in using and troubleshooting SFRA cartridges. Should be able to design and develop custom salesforce cartridges and plugins Must have deep understanding and experience in using salesforce Hooks, OCAPI and Jobs Must have experience in developing, using, and troubleshooting various salesforce eCommerce components and programming constructs like Controllers, Routes, extending controllers, models, ISML templates, content slots, page designers, objects, forms & page caching Knowledge and Experience in writing software code using front end scripting languages like Node JS, React and Server-side scripting will be a plus Outstanding communications skills; able to articulate complex technical topics for non-technical audiences. Experience of working in a Scrum team and understanding of scrum process.
