About the role The qualified individual will be responsible for performing advance maintenance duties to keep all conveyor systems operational and assisting with troubleshooting system issues and repairs. Will need advanced knowledge of material handling equipment (MHE) and tools and equipment needed for maintenance and repairs of the MHE, facility, and assigned projects, and a strong willingness to learn. The impact you can have. Perform preventive maintenance and repair of material handling equipment (MHE), powered equipment, and other facility equipment as needed. Strong background in fabrication Monitor and troubleshoot system operations. Facility repairs and maintenance such as DMS shuttles, RS-200, ECCs, ECGs and ASI systems. Cardboard baler maintenance, including wire changes and cleaning. Ability to operate scissor and boom lift, sit down counterbalance forklift. Battery changes in powered equipment Assisting with parts Project assignments in distribution center, office area and surrounding outdoor property. Additional duties and responsibilities as required to meet the established goals of the facility. You’ll bring to the role. 2 years’ experience in a hands-on maintenance role in a large, automated distribution center or manufacturing environment a plus Technically proficient in electrical and mechanical maintenance; Dematic specific experience a plus Electrical experience a Plus Knowledge of OSHA Lock out tag out and fall protection. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written and the ability to effectively communicate with all levels of staff. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and execute responsibilities. Strong problem solving and decision-making ability. Ability to adapt to your surroundings and keep a positive attitude. Ability to maintain a safe working environment. Able to utilize Computer Maintenance Management software to its full capability.
