Salary: $100k - $120k 10% Bonus

Position Summary: Provide general HR support to the Distribution Facility on matters such as the administration of Corporate and local policies and procedures, HR systems, and labor and employee relations. Provide administrative support within the HR function and assist the HR Manager with related activities as required. Take leadership role in absence of HR Manager.

Primary Responsibilities: Support employee onboarding and exit processes; track related metrics; maintain employee data base in Success Factors Administer applicable provisions of the Collective Bargaining Agreement and counsel employees, supervisors and managers regarding same as appropriate Responsible for union hiring and recruitment process; post positions, screen resumes, coordinate interview schedules, prepare offer letters, manage onboarding process, conduct new hire orientations, etc. Provide customer service and follow-through to daily employee requests Maintain working relationship with and support to temporary employment agencies Provide FMLA and Disability administrative support Manage recognition events Maintain attendance, vacation, personal days, leaves and record of interview tracking Provide monthly reports related to absenteeism, headcount and attrition Assist employees with Benefit open enrollment and wellness screenings Prepare and communicate weekly announcement updates to workforce

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university a must Minimum of 2-3 years of relevant work experience

Possess updated knowledge of employment laws and practices

Experience working with labor unions preferred

Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with Success Factors and E-time a plus

Able to deal with a diverse population of people in a manner which shows sensitivity and tact, along with conflict resolution and communication skills

Ability to take initiative, set priorities, learn quickly and take ownership of assigned projects and initiatives in a time and deadline driven environment

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Ability to analyze data, understand trends and develop recommendations for action based on the analysis.

Must maintain confidentiality in recording keeping, private documents and internal controls

Strong organizational skills; attention to detail a must Ability to work independently as well as in a team

Pay: $100,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
