Job Description : Profile Foods is seeking a dedicated Material Handler to join our Pre-Weigh Department team at our facility in Elgin, Illinois.

As a Material Handler, you will play a crucial role in the efficient operation of the Pre-Weigh Department by ensuring the timely and accurate handling of materials for production.

Responsibilities : 1. Material Handling : Safely and efficiently handle incoming materials, including raw ingredients, packaging materials, and other supplies, using appropriate equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.

2. Pre-Weigh Operations : Assist in the pre-weigh process by accurately measuring and dispensing ingredients according to specified recipes and production requirements.

3. Inventory Management : Monitor and maintain inventory levels of materials in the Pre-Weigh Department, ensuring sufficient stock levels are maintained to support production schedules.

4. Quality Assurance : Follow established procedures and protocols to ensure the integrity and quality of materials throughout the handling and pre-weigh process.

5. Documentation : Complete required documentation accurately and in a timely manner, including material transfer forms, batch records, and inventory logs.

6. Safety Compliance : Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues, including proper handling of hazardous materials.

7. Team Collaboration : Work collaboratively with other team members in the Pre-Weigh Department and across other departments to support overall production goals and objectives.

8. Continuous Improvement : Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency enhancements within the Pre-Weigh Department and contribute to the implementation of best practices.

Qualifications : High school diploma or equivalent. Prior experience in material handling or warehouse operations preferred.

Forklift certification is a plus. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to follow standard operating procedures and work instructions.

Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Flexibility to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and adapt to changing priorities.
