A.R.M. Solutions is Hiring an IT Administrator Near Newbury, CA

We are seeking a dynamic and skilled IT Support and Cloud Network Specialist to join our IT team. This multifaceted role combines responsibilities of providing technical support, administering Azure cloud infrastructure, and managing network operations. The ideal candidate should possess a robust background in IT support, cloud services, and networking, coupled with strong problem-solving abilities and a commitment to exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

Azure Administration:

  • Oversee and manage Azure cloud infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and security.
  • Deploy and maintain Azure services including virtual machines, storage solutions, and databases.
  • Administer Azure Active Directory, managing user accounts, groups, and roles.
  • Utilize PowerShell and other scripting tools to automate Azure tasks and workflows.
  • Ensure adherence to cloud security policies and data protection standards

Network Administration:

  • Design, implement, and manage LAN/WAN and wireless networks.
  • Monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to maintain network reliability.
  • Configure and manage network devices such as routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.
  • Conduct regular network security assessments and apply necessary updates and patches.
  • Work with external vendors and service providers to ensure network service availability and reliability.

Help Desk Support:

  • Serve as the first point of contact for end-users needing technical assistance, both remotely and on-site.
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network-related issues.
  • Record and track all support requests, incidents, and resolutions in the ticketing system.
  • Assist in the setup and configuration of new hardware and software for employees.
  • Conduct IT orientation and training sessions for new staff members.
  • Maintain and update IT asset inventory.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 3 years of experience in IT support, Azure administration, and network management.
  • In-depth knowledge of Azure cloud services and infrastructure management.
  • Proficiency in networking concepts and technologies (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, etc.).
  • Experience with network hardware and configuration (routers, switches, firewalls).
  • Familiarity with Windows Server, Active Directory, and Group Policy.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, CompTIA Network , CCNA) are highly desirable.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with automation tools and scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python).
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and best practices.
  • Familiarity with ITIL framework and practices.
  • Experience with remote monitoring and management tools.
