Job Description
We are seeking a Construction Project Engineer to join our growing and busy team! You will assist Project Managers with daily operations to keep projects on schedule.
Responsibilities:
- Draft correspondence such as submittals, RFP's, and RFI's to assist project managers to keep projects moving.
- Allocate resources for assigned projects
- Assist in supervising onsite personnel and subcontractors
- Interface with project inspectors, contractors, architects, engineers, city and county officials, and clients
- Negotiate with contractors to receive reasonable pricing
- Maintain high standards of workmanship that adhere to plans and specifications
- Continual follow up with project team to help manage project to completion with an ability to work with many different personalities.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in construction management or other related fields (3-5 years preferred)
- Healthcare Construction Experience is Beneficial to position
- Familiarity with construction management software
- Strong leadership qualities
- Strong negotiation skills
- Deadline and detail-oriented
- Ability to priority and multitask
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Open minded self starter who takes initiative
- Coachable in the AV Way
