Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Child Care Director to oversee the daily operations of our child care center. The ideal candidate will have a passion for early childhood education and a strong background in childcare administration.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement educational programs that align with state regulations and promote the intellectual, social, and emotional development of children.
- Supervise and support teaching staff, providing guidance and professional development opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with licensing requirements and maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for children.
- Collaborate with parents to address individual child needs and maintain open communication.
- Manage budgeting, staffing, and enrollment to ensure the center's success.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field (Higher education teaching experience preferred).
- Previous experience working with students in an educational setting.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Knowledge of child development theories and best practices in early childhood education.
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
