Job Description :
A Lifetime of Smiles is an award winning, state of the art facility that is committed to providing the highest quality of care for 25 years to our community in a fun, friendly atmosphere. We are a full service dental office with the most advanced equipment offering our patients preventative, restorative, cosmetic, endodontic, periodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontic procedures. We are fortunate to have the opportunity to improve patients' smiles and therefore, their lives.
This is an opportunity to work Full time in our fast growing office. You will play a key role in our office as a dental assistant and you will help support the clinical needs of the patients and our amazing doctors.
What you will do :
  • Comfort patients
  • Set up and breakdown operatories
  • Take dental x-rays
  • Manage infection control - prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment
  • Prepare patients for dental work
  • Collecting and recording medical and dental histories along with patient vital signs
  • Perform various office tasks as necessary
  • Providing postoperative instructions as directed by the doctor
  • Fabricating temporary restorations and custom impressions
What you will bring :
  • Certification or associate degree in an accredited dental assistance program
  • Great written and verbal skills
  • The ability to maintain a great attitude
  • The knowledge of dental procedures and terminology
  • The experience working in a fast-paced office
  • The ability to standard prolonged periods of sitting and standing
