Overview:

We are seeking compassionate individuals to join our team as Home Care Aides. As a Home Care Aide, you will provide essential support to individuals with developmental disabilities, ensuring their well-being and comfort in a home care setting.

Responsibilities:

- Assist clients with activities of daily living, including meal preparation and feeding.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
- Administer medication and assist with medical procedures such as tube feeding.
- Monitor and record vital signs accurately.
- Maintain medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Ensure a clean and safe environment for clients.
- Follow care plans and communicate effectively with healthcare professionals.
- Document patient care and progress accurately.

Requirements:

- Prior experience in caregiving or related field is preferred.
- Knowledge of medical documentation and patient care practices.
- Ability to handle medical emergencies calmly and effectively.
- Proficiency in meal preparation and cooking.
- Familiarity with working with individuals with developmental disabilities is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and respect client privacy.

Pay: $13.00 - $15.50 per hour
