Overview:
We are seeking compassionate individuals to join our team as Home Health Aides. As a Home Health Aide, you will play a crucial role in providing essential care and support to individuals in need within their homes.
Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals according to individual dietary needs
- Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
- Assist with mobility and transfers as needed
- Document and report any changes in client's health or behavior
Qualifications:
- Experience in lifting and transferring clients safely
- Proficiency in medical documentation and record keeping
- Knowledge of dementia care practices
- Ability to cook and prepare meals based on dietary restrictions
- Familiarity with assisted living and nursing home environments
- Understanding of vital signs monitoring
- Strong cleaning skills to maintain hygiene standards
- Experience in hospice care is a plus
