Job Responsibilities

Technical Support:
Offer primary technical support via phone, email, or in-person, addressing hardware, software, network, and system issues promptly.
Diagnose and resolve technical problems concerning computer systems, software applications, printers, and other IT equipment.
Helpdesk Operations:
Manage incoming service requests, prioritize based on urgency, and document solutions provided.
Maintain accurate records of hardware inventory while escalating complex issues to higher-level support teams when needed.
User Assistance and Training:
Provide guidance to users on effective utilization of applications, systems, and technology resources.
Enhance technical proficiency among faculty, staff, and students.
Collaboration and Communication:
Communicate effectively with end-users, understanding their technical needs, and providing timely updates on issue resolution.
Minimum and Additional Requirements

A Highschool Diploma and an interest in technology related service field(s).
Preferred Qualifications

An associate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Alternatively, relevant work experience in technical support.
Proven experience in technical support, preferably in an educational setting or helpdesk environment.
Strong knowledge of computer systems, software applications, networking, and troubleshooting methodologies.
Familiarity with Windows and MacOS operating systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and various hardware peripherals.
Excellent communication skills, capable of conveying technical information to non-technical users effectively.
Certifications such as CompTIA A , Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP), or relevant certifications are advantageous.
