Are you ready to lead from the front lines of reconstruction? We're seeking a dynamic Senior Project Manager with a heart for service and a head for construction. From managing rebuilds to mentoring our team of industry professionals, this role is your opportunity to make a real difference while mastering the insurance claim restoration process.
This position is based in Ledgewood, NJ, and will require travel throughout NJ and the tri-state area.
Mandatory Criteria beyond seasoned residential construction project management experience:
  • Proficiency in project management software
  • Expertise in Xactimate software for crafting precise estimates
  • Solid computer skills and ability to adapt to and learn new technologies
  • Experience navigating insurance claim restoration projects
  • Endurance to thrive in dynamic and fast-paced world of insurance restoration
  • In-depth understanding of the insurance claim restoration process and involvement in claims negotiations with insurance adjusters
Responsibilities will include:
  • Lead the charge on reconstruction projects from conception to completion
  • Inspire and empower our team of Project Managers, Jr. Project Managers, and Field Technicians
  • Forge strong alliances with subcontractors, ensuring each project exceeds expectations
  • Act as the guardian of quality control, ensuring every detail meets our exacting standards
  • Be the voice of assurance for our clients, addressing concerns with speed and empathy
  • Craft project-related documents including client contracts, change orders, sub-contracts,
  • Champion efficiency by optimizing estimating processes, material orders, and permit applications
  • Navigate the labyrinth of insurance negotiations, securing swift resolutions and payouts
  • Maintain meticulous project records in both hardcopy and digital formats
  • Obtain client authorizations via e-sign
  • Recruit sub-contractors to work on insurance related re-construction projects. Ensure all necessary documents for newly vetted subs are on file.
  • Assist sales teams as needed meeting potential clients, attending events
  • Attend weekly production meetings
  • Follow Company Policies and Procedures
  • Other duties as assigned to you by Management
Qualifications:
  • 10 years of residential construction project management
  • Experience with Xactimate Estimating program REQUIRED
  • Proficiency in MS Office including Outlook, Word, Excel
  • Proven track record of managing insurance claim restoration projects
  • Communicator extraordinaire with a knack for turning chaos into clarity
  • A team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment
  • Adaptable to learning and adhering to new processes and procedures
  • Ability to lift or carry up to 50 lbs & climb a ladder
  • Valid NJ drivers license with a clean driving record A MUST
  • Willingness to undergo a background check and eligibility verification to work in the United States as required by federal law.
90-day probationary period

Schedule:
  • Monday to Friday (start time 8 AM with 1-hour unpaid lunch break)
  • Emergency, After-Hours & Weekend availability as needed
