We are a small, busy boutique workshop in Southfield searching for an experienced contract administrator. As an ideal candidate, you have experience managing proposal development, contract creation, execution, and analysis, maximizing financial and operational performance, and minimizing risk. You will manage business contracts and ensure they meet objectives and conform to legislative requirements. You will need to have a high level of integrity, accountability, business sense, and no ego.
This is an independent contract position.
Qualifications

· Organization and time management skills.
· Strong empathy, listening, and problem-solving skills.
· Knowledge of federal and state contract laws and regulations.
· Prior experience working in healthcare and policies of healthcare.
· Ability to effectively research and interpret government regulations and contracting opportunities.
· Ability to identify and develop relationships with potential contractors including auto manufacturers.
· Strong Microsoft suite computer skills.
· Ability to pass a State of Michigan-mandated background check.
Education and Experience
This position requires a bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field. Coursework in business or contract law is a plus. Substantial experience may be used to fulfill educational requirements.
