Duties:
- Provide direct care and support to individuals with autism, ensuring their safety and well-being.
- Assist with medication administration and document accordingly.
- Maintain strict adherence to HIPAA regulations to protect patient privacy.
- Assist individuals with daily activities such as personal hygiene, meal preparation, and mobility.
- Implement behavior management techniques to promote positive behaviors and reduce challenging behaviors.
Experience:
- Previous experience working with individuals with autism is preferred.
- Experience in medication administration is a plus.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and compliance is required.
- Experience in providing personal care assistance, such as meal preparation and hygiene support, is necessary.
- Experience in behavior management techniques is desirable.
This position requires compassion, patience, and the ability to work effectively in a team. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills and the ability to adapt to changing situations.
Please note that this job may involve working irregular hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
