The Duran Golf Club is currently seeking an Assistant Equipment Technician - Golf Course. In this fulltime position you will be responsible for assisting the Equipment Technician in the repair and maintenance of various turf maintenance equipment and the Duran golf cart fleet. You will also assist with the daily set up of all needed machinery follow a comprehensive preventive maintenance program.
Responsibilities:

• Communicates any equipment related problems and maintenance issues to Equipment Technician and/or Golf Course Superintendent
• Set ups, modifies and services cutting equipment as directed
• Maintains a clean and safe working environment and ensures that all equipment operates safely and efficiently
• Assists in training golf course personnel regarding the safe operation of equipment, preventive maintenance procedures and the proper cleaning of equipment
• Assists with organizing and general maintenance facility cleaning
• Maintain a complete set of records for the Golf Cart Fleet, including parts ordering, receiving, and inventory
• General maintenance and repairs of electric golf cart fleet; including batteries, brakes, and tires

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Valid Drivers License
• Electric or gas mechanical repairs
• Understanding of mechanical repairs, hydraulics, reel and rotary mowers, operations of gas and diesel motors, small engines and sharpening blades.
