Description

A&D Mortgage is a Florida-based Nationwide Mortgage Lender providing successful residential and commercial loans for over 20 years. With a team of 200 employees across the United States, we represent our A service in 40 states.

As an Assistant Controller, you will play a key role in managing the financial operations of our nationwide mortgage lending company. You will work closely with our accounting team to ensure the accuracy of financial data and assist in financial reporting and analysis.

YOU'RE GOING TO

• Preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and profit and loss statements;

• Maintenance and reconciliation of the general ledger accounts;

• Performing monthly bank account reconciliations, verifying deposits, and processing bank requests;

• Performing debt compliance calculations;

• Reconciling customer accounts and managing accounts receivable collections;

• Verifying accounts payable-related invoices and ensuring payments are posted to appropriate accounts;

• Assisting external auditors by collecting necessary documents for annual audits;

• Coordinating with software vendors to maintain and improve accounting software.

IT'S IMPORTANT TO US THAT YOU HAVE

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting;

• 3-5 years of accounting experience;

• Experience in banking/financial institutions (preferred);

• Strong knowledge of US GAAP;

• High proficiency in accounting software;

• Ability to analyze financial statements;

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail;

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills;

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
