A Child's Place Early learning Centers is Hiring a Childcare Education Specialist Near Antioch, IL
A Child's Place in Antioch is a licensed childcare center seeking an energic Education Specialist! This is an exciting opportunity for a self-motivated, energetic education expert who is passionate about early childhood education.
To be QUALIFIED for this position, we require an associate in early childhood education OR at least 21 early childhood education credit hours completion of a business administration course, and previous experience working in a licensed childcare facility as a Lead Teacher. Must be able to pass all background checks.
Required Shift: Monday - Friday, based on center needs
Compensation: $18-$20 hr., based on education and experience

Our Hiring Process:
Resume screen
Phone screen with recruiter (30 minutes)
On-site interview with Regional Director (60 minutes)
Virtual Interview with Center Director (30-45 minutes)

Main Job Responsibilities:
Program development and Teacher interaction development
Review classroom interactions, behaviors, routines to identify development needs and provide support per CD.
Identify training/resource needs in areas of program, sanitation, regulatory compliance with CD and provide hands on support where needed or requested.
Assist CD with special projects and classroom environments
Lesson Planning and Program development
Incorporate developmental objectives into LP’s and oversee modification requests of staff.
Integrate activities and developmental goals into Tadpole system and Daily Reports.
Classroom Observations and Maintenance
Conduct classroom observations as needed or requested by CD using current monthly observation forms.
Physical ability to work around small children including sitting, standing, walking, running, and climbing stairs.
Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs. and fulfill all physical requirements of the role.
