Overview
Senior .NET Developer
long-term-contract; Alexandria, VA (Remote)
SUMMARY:
- Tier One Technologies has an immediate need for a Senior .NET Developer for our US Government client located in Alexandria, VA. This will be a 100% remote position.
- SELECTED CANDIDATES WITHOUT REQUIRED CLEARANCE WILL BE SUBJECT TO A FEDERAL GOVERNMENT BACKGROUND INVESTIGATION TO RECEIVE IT.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, implement, and maintain complex business, accounting, and management information systems.
- Work with users to define existing or new system scope and objectives.
- Work with the business analyst, application architect, and customer to transform business requirements into a technical solution.
- Perform modifications to and maintenance of operational programs and procedures.
- Assist users in the operation of the application.
- Work on high-visibility programs, or mission critical aspects of assigned program(s).
- Oversee the efforts of direct reporting resources and/or is responsible for the efforts of all staff assigned to a specific job.
- Research, design, develop, test, and/or modify enterprise-wide systems and/or applications software.
- Analyze user/business software system requirements and determine needs.
- Determine the functionality of an application and perform upgrades over time.
- Maintain documentation to support software development policies, standards, and procedures.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- A degree from an accredited College/University in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or related discipline is preferred.
- 5 years of experience working with .NET technologies.
- Must have proven experience working independently as well as collaboratively with a team.
- Be an expert programmer with robust technical design capabilities and ability to implement design patterns such as MVC and MVP.
- A good understanding of object-oriented analysis and design.
- Excellent working knowledge of C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core / 6.
- Experience working with JSON, HTML, JavaScript & JQuer.
- Experience with Single Page Application (SPA) design.
- Experience in web services, REST APIs, WCF, SQL Server and stored procedures.
- Experience working in an Agile / DevOps development environment.
- Experience using JavaScript-based UI frameworks such as AngularJS or AureliaJS.
- Experience with Test Driven Development is a plus.
- Experience working within a Azure PaaS is a plus.
- UI/UX design experience is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Must be able to obtain a Position of Public Trust Clearance.
- Be able to pass a drug screening, criminal history, and credit checks.
- Must be a US Citizen or have permanent residence status (Green Card).
- Must have lived in the United States for the past 5 years.
- Cannot have more than 6 months travel outside the United States within the last five years. Military Service excluded. (Exception does not include military family members.)
