The A.C.Coy company has an immediate opening for a Business Analyst. Ideal candidates must have 5 years of relavent experience, 3 years of experience writing and reading SQL queries and 3 years of data analysis. 

Responsibilities

• Elicit and interpret the actual needs of stakeholders, not simply their expressed desires. Work with various groups to determine data and information delivery needs
• Understand end user requirements both from a high-level business and technical perspective and document them into business and operational requirements to ensure the business data needs are captured and clearly communicated for solution design
• Act as Subject Matter Expert (SME) in the review, development, and implementation of new procedures and/or processes resulting from reengineering, new initiatives, increased quality control or as mandated by corporate policy
• Assist team members as a point of contact with their understanding of data domains, data concepts, and data management principles
• Refine and implement support metrics and management reports
• Conducting periodic reviews of process flows and present recommendations for process improvement along with related execution plans with timelines

Qualifications

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Systems Analysis related field or equivalent business/financial services industry experience

Experience:

• Relevant work experience - 5 years
• Proficient in assessing, capturing, and documenting business requirements - 2 years
• Proficient in document solution process flows
• Data analysis - 3 years
• Structured Query Language (SQL) queries ( read and write) - 3 years
• Project management software (Microsoft Project or Planner, Primavera) - 2 years
• Experience working with Bloomberg, Charles River, Eagle Investment Systems - Preferred
• Business analysis programming languages (ex. R, Python) - Preferred
• Experience with data lakes and data warehouses (experience with Microsoft Azure / Eagle Investment Systems / PACE) - Preferred
• Familiarity with mutual fund products and the securities industry
