Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and passionate individual to join our team as a Community Liaison. Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategies to engage and collaborate with community members, organizations, and stakeholders
- Serve as a liaison between our organization and the community, representing our mission and values
- Coordinate and manage volunteer programs, including recruitment, training, and supervision
- Organize and lead community events, workshops, and outreach activities
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop and implement community-based initiatives
- Utilize social media platforms to promote community engagement and increase awareness of our organization
- Provide support and resources to individuals in need, including addiction counseling or referrals to appropriate services
- Assist with fundraising efforts by identifying potential donors, organizing fundraising events, and cultivating relationships with sponsors
- Manage projects related to community development, public health initiatives, or other relevant areas
- Perform administrative tasks such as maintaining records, preparing reports, and managing budgets
Skills:
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively supervise volunteers and coordinate community programs
- Knowledge of public health principles and practices
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficient in social media management for community outreach purposes
- Experience in addiction counseling or related fields is a plus
