The role of the Customer Service Representative Tier 1 will be focused on collaborating with other customer service representative as a team to provide complete customer support for both internal and external customers.

Major Goals and Responsibilities:

The following job responsibilities are intended to reflect the major responsibilities of the job, but do not describe the minor duties or other responsibilities that may be assigned from time to time. Requirements are representative of minimum levels of knowledge, skills, and/or abilities. Incumbent will be required to satisfactorily perform all essential functions of the job.

  • Open and distribute all faxes, voicemails, and USPS mail
  • Provide priority phone coverage
    • We have an all live phone system with no automated prompts
  • Monitor multiple different email accounts
  • Provide support to customers through troubleshooting or entering requests
  • Enter and page incoming service requests to technicians
  • Evaluate viability of supplies requests, enter orders when applicable, and forward to warehouse department
  • Contact service technicians and relate proper information via text messages, calls, and email
  • Assist any walk-in customers
  • Assist other departments when needed
  • Perform account reviews for technology consultants
  • Effectively de-escalate upset customers
  • Company sponsored development completion
  • Enter Auto Coffee Order

Skills/Abilities:

  • Capacity to cope with interruptions
  • Ability to handle pressure
  • The ability to work with a variety of personalities and management levels
  • Strict attention to detail and organization while completing tasks efficiently
  • Must be personable, customer-centric, honest, and trustworthy
  • Self-motivated, energetic, and hardworking
  • Able to handle disgruntled customers in professional and courteous manner

  • Professional communication ability both in email and on the phones

Qualification and Education Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Experience in an Office/Call Center style setting desired
  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams
  • Experience in E-Automate a plus, but not required
