Essential duties

The Project Management Representative is A1's Customer Service Representative department offering support to open projects. The Project Management Representative is responsible for smooth deliveries and coordination between all departments regarding operations. Project Management Representative assists in analyzing data and generating reports to help the company plan for the upcoming 6–12-month outlook in terms of workflow, material, and labor needs to accommodate customer’s needs and forecasts. Reporting to the Project Management Supervisor.

  • Review logistics and support requirements.
  • Develop and manage logistic metrics, internal analysis tools, and key performance indicators to ensure workflow, and outcomes are favorable for both the company and customer.
  • Propose and create solutions for customers to ensure satisfaction in a timely manner.
  • Evaluate effectiveness of current or future logistical processes.
  • Interpret data on logistic elements, such as availability, maintainability, reliability, supply chain management, strategic sourcing or distribution, supplier management, and/or transportation.
  • Provide ongoing analyses in areas such as schedules, back orders, and delivery processes, and schedule jobs accordingly.
  • Track product flow from origin to final delivery.
  • Recommend improvements to existing or planned logistics processes.
  • Maintain subcontractors’ deliverables to the same standards as Company; serve as the liaison between all parties involved (customers, accounting, suppliers, transportation, etc.).
  • Train work of project management.
  • Prepare and update process documentation(s) related to the department.
  • Other duties assigned
  • No supervisory responsibilities

Qualifications

Required Skills, Education, Competencies, and Personal Attributes

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Experience in a Logistics position for a minimum of 3 years

Associate degree or equivalent from two-year college/technical school experience and/or equivalent training.

Reading Comprehension Understanding written sentences and paragraphs in work related documents.

Systems Analysis Determining how a system should work and how changes in conditions, operations, and the environment will affect outcomes.

Critical Thinking Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems.

Systems Evaluation Identifying measures or indicators of system performance and the actions needed to improve or correct performance, relative to the goals of the system.

Active Listening Giving full attention to what other people are saying, taking time to understand the points being made, asking questions as appropriate, and not interrupting at inappropriate times.

Oral Expression The ability to communicate information and ideas in speaking so others will understand.

Work Environment:

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
