The Batcher ensures reliable and sound processing of all incoming Job Orders from Design Department. Oversees proper distribution of orders to Production Management Team and supervisors for implementation. Our ideal candidate is computer savvy, has high attention to detail and collaborative with teammates.

Essential Duties and Functions

• Provide constant Job Order status/updates to Production management Team.
• Maintain open communications with Design, Customer Service, Production and Shipping Department for Job Order specifications or needs.
• Creating and or printing Job Order related sheets, memo correspondence, reports and other documents when necessary. Sending outgoing, retrieving and routing incoming electronic correspondences when needed.
• Writing correspondences or generating reports for Production Management Team when needed.
• Manage all incoming Job Orders through Viper/Job Manager.
• Monitor work schedule and shop production needs.
• Identify any special request by customer, or special materials needed, as well for any missing information from Design or Customer service department.
• Analyze job type, organize, assign marks and complete batch process.
• Print out all batched marks/plans/labels and package complete Job Orders for Production Management Team and supervisor utilization.
• Reassure all batched jobs are optimized for minimal material waste, and maximum work station(s) efficiency, taking in consideration every department.
• Create and maintain Job Order master files when needed for future utilization.
• Prepare reports for quality control.
• Take feedback from shipping department and production management for any modifications needed.
• Print and package corresponding Layouts, engineering, and other documents to be deliver with every job.
• Prepare reports for shipping to aid in bundling for transport.
• Ensure neatness and cleanliness of work space.
• Keep track of supplies in stock.
