98 1 Stop is a Convenenice Store and Cafe in Columbia, MS focused on a family-friendly atmosphere. We are a small team of passionate people who love what we do.

We seek a responsible, detail-oriented individual with a proven track record of excellent customer service. The successful candidate will work directly with our customers and must be able to quickly and efficiently interact with the public in a friendly manner. Individuals interested in this position must be able to work well in a fast-paced environment and have experience handling cash and credit cards.

Responsibilities:

• Handle customer needs and questions.
• Greet customers.
• Reduce complaints.
• Lead cashiers by example; handle cash, credit card, and debit card transactions.
• Use a cash register to ring up purchases on credit cards, issue change, receive payment or provide a receipt; operate point of sale equipment such as scanners and bar codes.
• Accept payments in the form of cash, checks and credit cards; give change or receipts; discuss sales prices and discounts with customers.
• Pass out samples of products to customers.
• Cleaning and restocking the store throughout the day, before opening and after closing
• Maintaining interior and exterior grounds insuring they are free of trash and debris
• Maintaining clean bathrooms, drink machines, and trash bins daily

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $9.00 - $10.00 per hour

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

• Cash handling: 1 year (Preferred)
• Customer service: 1 year (Preferred)
