Job Description:

As an Agile Scrum Master with a background in automotive manufacturing, you will play a crucial role in driving our product development process forward. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful delivery of projects, utilizing Agile methodologies to improve efficiency, transparency, and collaboration.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as a servant leader and coach for Agile teams, facilitating Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Collaborate with product owners, engineers, designers, and other stakeholders to define project scope, prioritize tasks, and ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Remove impediments and foster a culture of continuous improvement within the team, promoting transparency and accountability.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and budgets, tracking progress and communicating updates to relevant stakeholders.
  • Lead by example, embodying Agile principles and values, and encouraging teams to embrace Agile best practices.
  • Leverage your knowledge of automotive manufacturing processes to identify opportunities for optimization and efficiency gains.
  • Foster a culture of innovation and adaptability, encouraging experimentation and learning from failures.
  • Act as a mediator and facilitator, resolving conflicts and promoting constructive dialogue within the team.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and best practices, continuously seeking opportunities to enhance our Agile practices and processes.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent Agile certification.
  • 1-2 years of experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Coach in an automotive manufacturing environment.
  • Deep understanding of Agile principles and methodologies, with hands-on experience implementing Agile practices in cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with team members and stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills, with a proactive and collaborative approach to overcoming challenges.
  • Experience with Agile tools such as Jira, Confluence, or similar software.
  • Knowledge of automotive manufacturing processes, including lean manufacturing principles, quality management systems, and supply chain management.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with a passion for driving change and continuous improvement.
