8822 MVI Field Services is Hiring a Security Guard-Part Time Near Nashville, TN
Job Summary:
Seeking a candidate that has previous professional experience in security operations to work Saturday & Sunday, 6am-6pm. Our goal is to keep customers, employees, and assets within the Nashville Airport Consolidated Rental Car Facility (BNA ConRAC) safe and to quickly respond to emergencies.
Duties and Responsibilities – Security Officer:
- Ensure the security, safety, and well-being of all customers and employees at the Rental Car Facility
- Maintain a professional demeanor that resonates throughout the Security team
- Provide excellent customer service
- Perform all duties and inspections in accordance with all airport, local, state, and federal regulations
- Immediately respond to all emergencies to provide necessary assistance to employees and customers
- Communicate with Airport Police, EMS/First Responders, Fire Department, and MVI management throughout emergencies
- Protect the assets of MVI, the Rental Car Operators, the airport, and employees relative to theft, assault, fire, and other safety issues
- Implement and follow procedures for various initiatives such as facility patrol, traffic control, accident investigation, and other emergency response situations
- Effectively use security cloud-based software to perform facility tours, report emergencies, equipment deficiencies, send maintenance work orders, complete various reports, and communicate with other MVI staff
- Employee is responsible for attendance accuracy: use the Kronos time clock to clock in/clock out, use TotalHRWorks and WebApps to submit your timesheets no more than 3 days after the end of the pay period. If any items are incorrect (missing punches, let Supervisor know immediately)
- Monitor camera systems in the Rental Car Facility
- Operate the Entrance and Exit gates as part of the vendor management program
- Assist team members or special assignments as directed by Security Lead/Supervisor, Facility Manager or Maintenance Manager
Education, Experience, Skills, and Requirements
- 2 years of experience as a security officer or security guard (armed and/or unarmed)
- 21 years of age to apply
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Pass TSA background check
- Pass pre-employment drug screening
- 2 years experience as Security Officer/Guard – either Armed or Unarmed
- Up to date Security License (Armed or Unarmed)
- CPR and/or First Responder Certifications a plus
- Must know security operations and procedures
- Computer literate to use security software
- Experience monitoring camera systems
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Capable of following complex instructions
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Comfortable leading in emergencies
