This role will provide analysis, alternatives, recommendations, implementation plans of maintenance initiatives intended to improve safety, regulation compliance, increase production capacity, improve equipment availability/reliability, and reduce costs. EHS: Responsible for complying with EH&S rules and regulations. Participate in Visible Felt Leadership on safety matters. Project Management: Develop project ideas into well-defined project scopes, implement to complete on time and within budget delivering scope Lead process enhancement initiatives in productivity which feeds operational improvements and reliability. Coordinate efforts with plant personnel to drive and establish best practice manufacturing improvement efforts. Reliability & Maintenance Management: Participate in Contractor Management to include adherence to approved costs and all site safety regulations. Work with CMMS tool for work order tracking and improvements. Participate in the maintenance improvement initiatives identified through failure root causes analysis and/or compliance, growth or cost reduction requirements. Develop, implement and provide mentoring for World Class Asset Management techniques, including implementation of documented work management practices. Participate in the process of benchmarking successful Maintenance organizations and processes. Develop and monitor departmental performance key indicators (KPI’s). Liaison with purchasing to identify and negotiate purchase of needed components, equipment and contract services. Prepares reports, analyzes data, and makes recommendations for improving plant operations and solving maintenance related problems. Be aware of maintenance spending per month, per quarter and per year Ensure all department objectives are completed on time and within budget.
