Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide specially designed instruction to meet the unique needs of each child resulting from his/her disability, including resource room, inclusion, and/or pullout services.
• Participate in professional development specific to special education curriculum and utilize data tracking tools.

Qualifications:

• Must hold a valid teacher license in the state you are applying for or meet alternative requirements.
• Ability to meet multiple demands from several people and interact with the public and other staff.

Non-negotiable Requirements:

• Must hold either a K-12 Intervention Specialist license or a K-12 Educational Handicapped license.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds.
• Ability to sit for extended periods.
