CityLight Commercial Services (CLCS) is a 6am Core Collective Company. CLCS is a licensed contractor in the State of Tennessee, whose mission is the maintenance and rehab of the 1,500 rental homes managed by CrestCore Realty and Property Management. We are seeking a skilled and reliable Roofing Repair Technician to join our team and contribute to the maintenance and repair of various residential roofing systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in roofing repair techniques, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship. This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday, from 8 am to 5 pm, with competitive benefits and performance-based incentives.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough assessments of roofing systems to identify areas in need of repair or maintenance and when necessary, offer written quotes to clients.
• Perform repairs on various roofing materials, including shingles, tiles, metal, and flat roofs. Replace damaged or worn roofing components such as flashing, underlayment, and insulation. Repair leaks, cracks, and other damage to ensure the integrity and longevity of the roofing system.
• Collaborate with the team to plan and execute roofing repair projects within the established schedule.
• Utilize appropriate tools and equipment to carry out repairs safely and efficiently.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring that debris and materials are properly disposed of.
• Communicate effectively with clients to explain repair processes, provide progress updates, and address any concerns. Adhere to industry safety standards and company protocols to minimize risks and ensure a safe working environment. Document work performed, materials used, and any additional recommendations for clients.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest roofing repair techniques, materials, and industry trends. Perform and assist with some carpentry maintenance repairs

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications or vocational training in roofing repair is a plus.
• Proven experience in roofing repair with a strong portfolio showcasing past projects.
• Proficiency in various roofing materials, repair methods, and tools.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to diagnose roofing issues accurately.
• Strong physical stamina and the ability to work at heights in varying weather conditions.
• Solid communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with clients and team members effectively. Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating reliability and professionalism. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to job sites. Safety-conscious mindset and knowledge of occupational safety regulations.
