Clinical Trial Payments Overview

The Business Analyst provides system and analytic support for EPMO (Enterprise Program Management Office) projects to facilitate project planning and execution. The Business Systems Analyst is responsible for effectively planning, developing, and enhancing reporting, analytic tools, and business systems for internal and client use.
Responsibilities:
- Identifies and interprets trends and patterns in datasets to support the development of recommendations
- Creates specifications for reports and analysis based on business needs and required or available data elements
- Formulates and defines systems scope and objectives through research and fact-finding combined with an understanding of applicable business systems and requirements
- Develops or modifies moderately complex information systems
- Includes analysis of business and user needs, documenting requirements, and revising existing system logic difficulties as necessary
- Competent to work in some phases of systems analysis and considers the business implications of the application of technology to the current business environment
- Expertise in trend, variance and key performance indicators
- Identify issues and form hypothesis and solutions
- Deliver informative, well-organized presentations
Qualifications:
- Requires intermediate level knowledge of principles, theories, and concepts of business/financial analysis, typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience.
- Bachelor's Degree: Related discipline or equivalent experience / training required
- Advanced knowledge within Microsoft Excel and ability to execute function on large data sets with no guidance

- Able to deal with ambiguity and translate into more tangible outcomes
- Identify innovative ways to increase customer (internal or external) and stakeholder satisfaction
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders
- Communicates effectively with stakeholders to identify needs and evaluate alternative business solutions with project management
- Collect, review, manage business requirements, specifications, and business processes related to proposed solutions or project as assigned
- Execute based on long-term strategies, and ever-changing short term, and immediate needs
- Carry out research and data collection to understand the organization and contribute to operational excellence
- Expertise in trend, variance, and forecast reporting as well as key performance indicators
- Identify issues and form hypothesis and solutions independently
- Independently manage cross-functional and global projects to drive operational efficiencies
- Work independently and prioritize workload in order to meet deadlines
- Comfort presenting to multi-levels within the organization and ability to consume and explain complex data
- Ability to influence and persuade based on data
- Deliver informative, well-organized presentations
- Data reconciliation

The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $86,000.00 - $130,000.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.Job Summary
