5J Driveaway is growing and looking for a full-time Operations Assistant to join our team in our North East, PA office!

Responsibilities:

• Accept loads from customer portals and enter load data on the web-based load board
• Dispatch loads to drivers, sends BOL’s, and load drivers’ Comdata Cards for initial pick up
• Reconcile drivers’ pays on Comdata daily to monitor what has been paid or is owed
• Communicate with drivers during transportation and finalizes loads once signed BOL is received and closes out load including driver pay
• Send BOL’s to accounting department for final billing once loads are closed out
• Updates customer portals and customer contacts via email once deliveries are assigned and completed
• Maintain asset inventory
• Daily communication with customers and drivers
• Assist with driver compliance
• Assist with all required reporting and paperwork
• Communicate driver or customers issues/concerns to management
• Respond timely to calls, emails, and texts and provides accurate information
• Special projects, as assigned
• Other duties as assigned

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or GED required
• Experience in the transportation industry is a plus
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Ability to work independently
• Possesses drive and initiative
• Strong attention to detail
• Contribute to a positive work environment
• Desire to grow professionally
