Sales and Marketing Manager - New Development - Independent Living/Active Adult located in Scottsdale, AZ
We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Sales and Marketing Manager to lead our new development project in the independent living/active adult sector. The Sales and Marketing Manager will play a pivotal role in driving the success of our community by strategically promoting and selling its offerings to prospective residents. This role requires a blend of strategic thinking, leadership, and a deep understanding of senior living sales and marketing. New development experience is preferred, but not required. We are looking for a strong sales driver that consistently gets results. A CLOSER!
Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Sales and Marketing:
Develop and implement a comprehensive sales and marketing strategy by identifying target markets.
Analyze competitor positioning and devise effective plans to attract prospective residents. Collaborate with the executive team to set achievable sales goals and revenue targets.
2. Prospect Engagement
Build and maintain relationships with potential residents and their families through personalized interactions.
Conduct tours, presentations, and meetings to showcase the community's features, benefits, and amenities.
Address inquiries, provide information, and guide prospects through the decision-making process.
3. Sales Process Management:
Manage the entire sales process, from initial contact to closing and move-in, ensuring a smooth and positive experience for prospects. Maintain accurate prospect and sales data in CRM systems and provide regular reports to the executive team.
4. Market Analysis and Insights:
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to adjust sales and marketing strategies. Utilize data-driven insights to refine targeting, messaging, and community positioning.
5. Sales Leader:
Key driver in our sales team, responsible for leading by example and ensuring that our sales targets are not just met but exceeded. Your primary focus will be on building relationships and closing sales to drive revenue growth and achieve company objectives.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field preferred with a proven track record of success in senior living or real estate sales, preferably in independent living/active adult communities. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to connect with diverse audiences. Proficiency in CRM systems, digital marketing platforms, and sales software. Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset and the ability to adapt to changing market dynamics. Minimum of 3 years experience with new development experience preferred. High level of energy, enthusiasm, and a genuine passion for promoting senior living communities.
