52TEN is a fast-growing real estate property management company based out of Scottsdale, Arizona. We aren't a 3rd party management company, but rather a company that only manages their own properties. We are actively seeking a Bookkeeper that is detail-focused, with preferably 2 years prior experience to join our growing team. This new team member will be working directly with our internal Finance Manager and our world class team of outside support.
This role is responsible for maintaining clerical tasks, including bookkeeping. This role also collaborates with the Finance Team on projects and year-end tax prep. The ideal candidate must display a good understanding of bookkeeping/basic accounting principles, strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry, exhibit well-rounded communication skills, and be able to work as a team player but also quite independently. This individual must be able to work in a structured, fast-paced environment as well as possess the ability to adapt to shifting deadlines and priorities.
Roles and Responsibilities 

• Perform data entry and maintain accurate records of financial transactions, including receipt reconciliations
• Collaborate with internal teams on tasks associated with bookkeeping 
• Document retention, filing, and file organization
• Collaborate with Finance Manager on projects, and year-end tax preparation
• Maintain confidentiality of financial information and work within the 52TEN way of operating business

• Motivated to raise the bar and continually grow and improve professionally
• A zest for doing a great job and providing the best experience 
• Two years of bookkeeping experience
• Ability to communicate professionally and effectively 
• Problem solving and analytical skills
• Team player, ability to problem solve, can take initiative, tech savvy
• Background check and references required
• Required to have your own equipment (laptop, computer)

Not Required, but a Plus

• Experience in real estate property management
• Experience in property management software; ex. Rent Manager, Yardi, CampSpot, ManageAmerica

• Base Salary $40k-50k
