Sr. Warehouse Lead

at 4ocean Deerfield Beach, Florida, United States 4ocean is on a mission to save the worlds oceans, and we are looking for a Sr.

Warehouse Lead to help us advance our cause. About this Position This is a full-time lead position that directs the activities of warehouse personnel involved in the receiving, production, and shipping of 4ocean products ensuring that all policies and procedures are followed, and the team stays motivated enjoying their day-to-day work as an important 4ocean crew member.

Other fun stuff you'll get to do :

• Assist Warehouse Supervisor with development, implementation, and maintenance of policies and procedures
• Act as professional mentor for less experienced Team Leads assisting them with operational questions
• Supervise all shipping, receiving, and packing room activities performed by the warehouse crew
• Maintain a high degree of access to all crew members and other Team Leads on the warehouse floor throughout your shift
• Live the 4ocean core values as a company leader
• Support inventory control process
• Resolve warehouse-related issues with 4ocean crew members from other departments across the company
• Review, prioritize, and organize all outbound orders
• Collaborate with Warehouse Supervisor on personnel issues and requests
• Lead by example by loading trucks and / or performing other duties as needed
• Perform administrative tasks as necessary
• Maintain a working knowledge of all warehouse operations
• Ensure safety programs and required safety training are delivered to crew members
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years related experience or equivalent
• Bilingual - Spanish preferred
• Strong inventory control skills
• Shipping / Receiving experience
• Knowledge of warehouse operations best practices
• Demonstrated proficiency in supervising and motivating crew members
• Committed to excellence with high standards
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills
• Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm
• Ability to work independently and as a member of various teams and committees
• Proven ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to deal effectively with diverse individuals at all levels
• Forklift certified or willing & able to become forklift certified
• Must comply with all safety requirements
• Ability to perform the physical labor necessary to do the job daily

Systems Experience

• WMS / TMS / LMS (Brightpearl & Shipping Easy strongly preferred)
• Proficient in Excel / Google Sheets
• Comfortable using Shipping Easy / Ship Station

Founded In 2017, 4ocean was created with the mission to sell a product that would enable the company to fund a worldwide cleanup initiative.

This is how our first product, the 4ocean bracelet, was born. Made from recycled materials, every bracelet purchased funds the removal of one pound of trash from the ocean and coastlines.

In only four years, we have sold enough bracelets & other products to enable us to pull over 15 million pounds of trash from the ocean.

Beyond our products, we combat the ocean plastic crisis through advocacy, cleanups, influence, and education. We are a for-profit business, because we believe in creating sustainable, profitable business models around cleaning the ocean rather than relying on external funding.

Our ocean clean-up operations, currently in the U.S., Haiti, Guatemala and Indonesia, are meticulously documented and audited for transparency, and are regularly expanding to new locations and deploying new clean-up technologies.
