Position Purpose:
Develop programs and parameters for production processes including fabricating and machining systems; tooling design, assembly and rebuild; and development support. This will include maintenance responsibilities for repairing and rebuilding equipment that is part of the Controls Business Unit (CBU) building.
Essential Functions:
1.Assemble the automatic and manually operated machining fixtures and tooling.
2.Responsible for repair of equipment and facilities in the Canton CBU facility
3.Build components from hand sketches, prints or verbal instruction.
4.Build, install, and debug electrical panels, enclosures, and equipment.
5.Responsible for operations and skills outside of established procedures
6.Identify areas in which tooling, cleanliness, operation sequences, or forming consistency can be improved to increase throughput or product quality.
7.Develop process documentation and systems to maintain equipment and facilities.
8.Assist in the development of quality systems for new products and processes.
9.Assist in the daily troubleshooting of robotic or tooling problems.
10.Assist with maintenance area for plant/building.
