3M is seeking Part-Time Production Operator candidates to join our team in Columbia MO!

• Shift Options: 2nd Shift; 20 or 24 hours per week (see under “Your Skills & Expertise”)
• Starting Pay: $20.04-$22.82/hour Shift Differentials (varies by experience)

The person hired for the Part-Time Production Operator position will be responsible for producing products in the plant. They will operate and maintain machinery, ensure production standards are met, finalize products, and prepare products for shipping.

• Observe all safety procedures while maintaining a clean and safe work area
• Apply quality instructions & specifications
• Monitor the production or packing operation to ensure quality objectives are met
• Load/unload material into & from equipment
• Work as a team member through sharing information, problem solving & assisting others

Your Skills and Expertise

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

• Possess a High School Diploma / GED or higher (completed prior to start)
• Ability to work one or more of the following part-time 2nd shifts:
• M, T, W – 3:30pm-11:30pm OR
• W, Th, F – 3:30pm-11:30pm OR
• M-F – 3:30pm-7:30pm OR
• M-F – 7:30pm-11:30pm
• Ability to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

• Post-high school education
• Basic computer knowledge

The starting rate of pay for this position is $20.04/hour, with the potential to reach $24.08/hour. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position.
