3G Security Solutions and its brother company, Am-Gard Inc., have been providing security guard service to the southwestern Pennsylvania region for over 40 years. Incorporated in 2015, 3G Security Solutions is a wholly owned WBE and operates within the Pittsburgh Market. We take pride in our support of the communities we serve and local charities including the City of Pittsburgh Police, Veteran’s Leadership Program, Animal Friends, and the Wounded Warrior project just to name a few. 3G Security Solutions is a member of the Building Owners and Managers Association as well as the American Society for Industrial Security and is proud to be one of the largest Women owned, locally operated security businesses in the Pittsburgh Market.

Experience Required: Pref Minimum: Some security experience, demonstrated proficiency with the duties of all facility security posts – galleries, entrances, docks and tours. Customer service, public relations, and asset protection a must.
PRIMARY FUNCTION: Providing the necessary operational support to ensure the protection of the people and assets from various threats and potential threats such as theft, vandalism, fire and assault, following the procedures set forth in the Employee Handbook, Standard Operating Procedures, and the Emergency Operations Plan.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES: Must have the ability to communicate clearly both orally and in writing, understand and follow oral and written instructions, and communicate instructions to others. Must have the ability to understand and achieve a basic working knowledge of the security system, procedures, and access control within an established training period. A working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, including Word, Excel, Access, and a basic understanding of Adobe Reader.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Must demonstrate emotional stability during periods of tension and stress while carrying out assigned duties. Must have excellent ability to hear, see, smell and otherwise observe surroundings. Must be able to climb, maintain balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl and reach with hands and arms. Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Must be able to sit, stand and walk for extended periods.
