Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Business Coach with expertise in sales processes and government procurement to join our team on a contract basis. As a Business Coach, you will work closely with clients from various industries to assess their needs, develop customized coaching plans, and guide them toward achieving their business objectives. Your primary focus will be on fostering long-term relationships with clients, identifying growth opportunities, and implementing effective strategies to enhance their overall performance.

Responsibilities:

  • Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their business needs, challenges, and objectives.
  • Business Analysis: Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' businesses, including SWOT analysis, market research, and competitor analysis to identify growth opportunities and areas for improvement.
  • Strategic Planning: Develop customized business development strategies and action plans aligned with clients' objectives, leveraging industry best practices and innovative approaches.
  • Coaching and Mentoring: Provide expert guidance and support to clients, offering valuable insights, advice, and practical solutions to address their business challenges and achieve sustainable growth.
  • Sales and Marketing Support: Collaborate with clients to develop and implement effective sales and marketing strategies, including branding, positioning, and lead generation tactics.
  • Performance Monitoring: Track and analyze key performance metrics, evaluating the effectiveness of implemented strategies and making adjustments as necessary to ensure optimal results.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on industry trends, market dynamics, and emerging best practices in business development, continually refining and enhancing our service offerings.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a business coach or consultant, with a focus on technical business development and innovation.
  • Solid understanding of sales and marketing principles, including market segmentation, customer acquisition, and brand positioning.
  • Collaborate with clients to develop targeted sales and marketing strategies aligned with their business goals, leveraging both traditional and digital marketing channels.
  • Proficiency in marketing analytics tools can help coaches measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns, optimize marketing spend, and identify opportunities for improving customer engagement and retention.
  • Strong understanding of business principles, including finance, marketing, operations, and strategic planning, with a technical lens.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts clearly and concisely.
  • Exceptional listening and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with clients across technical and non-technical teams.
  • Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Ability to understand and interpret financial statements, such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Skilled in financial analysis techniques to assess the financial health of a business, identify areas for improvement, and develop strategies to optimize profitability and cash flow.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling tools and techniques can also be advantageous for creating forecasts, scenario analysis, and assessing the impact of strategic decisions on the financial performance of the business.
  • Certification in coaching or relevant field (e.g., ICF certification) preferred but not required.
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, management, engineering, computer science, or related field; advanced degree preferred.

Contract Details:

  • This is a 12-month contract position with flexible hours.
  • The duration and terms of the contract will be negotiated based on mutual agreement.
  • Compensation will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.
