We are seeking a highly organized and personable Front Desk Receptionist to join our orthopedic surgery practice. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for patients, visitors, and medical staff, providing exceptional customer service and administrative support

.**Responsibilities:**

1. Greet patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner.

2. Manage patient check-in and check-out processes efficiently.

3. Schedule appointments, surgeries, and follow-up visits accurately.

4. Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and direct calls to the appropriate department.

5. Verify insurance information and collect co-payments as necessary.

6. Maintain patient records and ensure all documentation is accurate and up-to-date.

7. Coordinate with medical staff to ensure smooth patient flow and scheduling.

8. Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and scanning documents.

9. Handle patient concerns and complaints with empathy and professionalism.

10. Ensure the reception area is clean, organized, and welcoming at all times.

**Requirements:**

1. High school diploma or equivalent.

2. Previous experience in a medical office setting preferred.

3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

4. Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

5. Proficiency in computer skills, including MS Office and electronic medical records (EMR) systems.

6. Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.

7. Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance procedures is a plus.

8. Compassionate and empathetic demeanor when interacting with patients.

9. Ability to maintain confidentiality of patient information.

10. Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules and priorities.
