This position is responsible for designing and developing software applications and solutions to meet the needs of the Company.
Responsibilities
- Work as part of an agile team, with the product owner, team members, and stakeholders to understand requirements for simple-to-complex business systems.
- Work with other agile team members to ensure that systems are being built to defined expectations and perform change management functions as needed.
- Analyze and perform modifications to systems as requested by end users.
- Analyze and assist in correction of problems which may occur in system operations.
- Own the onboarding of a new employee
- Continuous learning is expected, work with your teammates or manager to select appropriate coursework from our training portal or other sources. Suggest topics to study. This may include subject matter outside our current technology stack
- Actively supports and complies with all components of the compliance program, including, but not limited to, completion of training and reporting of suspected violations of law and Company policy.
- Maintains confidentiality of all information; abides with HIPAA and PHI guidelines at all times.
- To work remotely, it is expected you will have a reliable, nonpublic high-speed internet connection with sufficient bandwidth to participate in all work-related activities. Any interruptions in service should be immediately reported to your manager.
- Reacts positively to change and performs other duties as assigned.
- Degree in Computer Science, or closely related field, or significant equivalent experience
- Minimum of 3-6 years industry experience as a developer
- Experience working with SQL Server and NoSQL databases
- Experience with JavaScript, NodeJS, Express or Fastify, and web APIs as part of a Service Oriented Architecture
- Experience with at least 1 modern unit test framework such as Jest
- Proficiency working in Windows, MacOS x, Linux and Unix environments
- Knowledge of JSON and ORMs such as Mongoose is highly desirable
- Web development using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, XML, Angular, and like languages
- Ability to work well with internal customers and management
- Ability to gather requirements and develop design specifications
- Experience with web applications
- Comfortable with mobile and desktop applications
- Ability to work independently and with other team members.
- Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
- Must be detail oriented and self-motivated.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Anticipate needs in a proactive manner to increase satisfaction.
- Take ownership of job responsibilities by initiating prompt and appropriate follow up and/or action to problems.
