360 Talent Avenue has partnered with a privately-owned company that provides tailored financial services for their clients, to hire a Finance & Accounting Assistant in Santa Clarita, CA.

This position is a direct hire with our client.Pay is $30-40 per hour

What you’ll do:

• Perform basic bookkeeping tasks and maintain accurate financial records for book of clients 
• Support Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) functions
• Use QuickBooks Online to manage financial transactions and accounts
• Interact with teams at various finance companies to organize and pay commissions
• Utilize Excel to manipulate data and create formulas for analysis
• Identify potential discrepancies or errors in financial data and take corrective actions as needed

What you’ll need:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
• Proven experience in basic bookkeeping and accounting
• Advanced proficiency in Excel, including the ability to write formulas
• Experience using QuickBooks Online or similar accounting software
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
