Permanent Part Time Position (Potential for Full Time) 2-3 days/week

ADULT Nurse Practitioner: Pay $80-$100/hour commensurate with experience.

Our highest priority is the experience, care, and outcome of our patients. This is an incredible opportunity to practice in a multidisciplinary setting with a unique approach to care. Our practice is an affiliate of HSS with a focus on collaborative care, offering medical care and musculoskeletal care within a private corporation. Our clinic provides care from a team of nurse practitioners, chiropractors, physical therapists, athletic trainers, and exercise physiologists. These combined specialties offer a great range of in house care for our corporate client. This is an adult only practice.

Position:

• Experience with adult primary care and/or urgent care
• Manage a mix of Primary Care and Urgent Care Perform
• Comprehensive physical examination of patients.
• Diagnose and treat acute, episodic, or chronic illness.
• Prescribe any necessary medications.
• Refer, communicate, and collaborate with other physicians and specialities as needed
• Phlebotomy experience and competency preferred (or willing to learn).
• Contribute to the development and implementation of ongoing wellness programs.

Qualifications:

• Degree from an accredited program.
• Licensed and good standing in New York State.
• MUST have the required hours to work independently. Prefer 2-3 years of experience working in a clinical setting as a Nurse Practitioner.
• Comfortable with evaluation and identifying the underlying cause is essential.
• Confident and skilled in multiple areas of acute care.
• Independent, personable, professional, organized, dynamic, flexible and possesses excellent time management and communication skills.
• Works well with other specialties on site.
