POSITION TITLE: Maitre D’ – Peck & Plume Restaurant
POSTION TYPE: Full- and Part-time (AM and PM Shifts)
REPORTS TO: Food & Beverage Management
POSITION SUMMARY:
As Maitre D’ for Peck & Plume at The Mayton Hotel, you will be part of creating the Peck & Plume experience. Maître D’s are responsible for the initial warm greeting and seating of guests, answering telephones, taking reservations and messages, maintaining accurate guest counts and wait times, and saying goodbye to all guests. Oversees dining room and acts as a goodwill ambassador to guests.
You must be able to work under pressure on a busy evening and be capable of maintaining control of the waitlist, be calm and collected, and always have a positive attitude toward waiting guests and busy team members.
