2Life Communities is Hiring a Cashier Store/Cafe Attendant (PT) Near Auburndale, MA

Courteously and professionally assist residents in making purchases in the dining room and at the store/café at different 2Life Communities campuses. Maintain a clean, organized, and stocked dining room and store during scheduled times of operation.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Greet residents as they enter the dining room or café.
Explain menu items to guests and offer suggestions.
Communicate resident feedback to managers.
Assist residents with food trays and help seat them if needed.
Comply with health & safety regulations.
Package and serve prepared foods.
Set up & break down coffee & tea area in the dining room.
Stock beverage case, fruit display, grab n’ go case, and “To Go” containers.
Stock necessary supplies and products as needed.
Keep service area clean & report any maintenance needs.
Other duties as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

Previous work experience in food service is required.
Must be able to work independently.
At least 3 years of Customer service experience preferred.
Experience using Point of Sale system.
Knowledge of health & safety regulations with food.
Flexibility to work at different campuses.
Must have reliable transportation to be able to travel between 2Life campuses.

WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Ability to stand for up to 7 hours.
Ability to lift items weighing between10 to 40 pounds.
Constant bending and reaching high.
Ability to walk and deliver meals through heated hallways.
Ability to practice safety protocols around kitchen equipment.
