24 Hour Home Care is Hiring a Controller (Alliance Services) Near Newberg, OR

WHO YOU ARE:

As a Controller, you will be a pivotal figure within our organization, overseeing all financial activities and ensuring adherence to regulatory standards. You will play a key role in strategic decision-making by providing accurate financial insights and forecasts, driving the company towards its financial goals.

THE ROLE:

  • Collaborate with leadership to develop and implement strategic financial plans
  • Partner with division heads to create annual budgets and forecasts
  • Drive efficiency by streamlining financial close processes and ensuring timely reporting
  • Oversee financial audits and ensure compliance with GAAP standards
  • Monitor cash flow and debt service to ensure covenant compliance
  • Assist in financial due diligence for potential acquisitions
  • Manage aspects of Revenue Cycle Management, including collections monitoring
  • Provide financial support and cost monitoring across departments
  • Mentor and train team members to enhance their skills and expertise
  • Serve as a trusted advisor and business partner, integrating financial insights into organizational decision-making

This position is based out of our office in Newburg, Oregon. You will work alongside dynamic colleagues onsite 5 days a week.

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE:

  • Required qualifications and attributes:

    • 8 years of progressive experience in accounting including 4 in a managerial capacity
    • Track record of managing and developing high performing staff accountants
    • Prior experience successfully implementing a new ERP system
    • Prior experience negotiating and managing key vendor relationships and contracts
    • Strong analytical skills
    • Intellectually curious 
    • Strong written and oral communication skills
    • Effective project management skills
    • Client service orientation
    • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field of study required
  • Preferred qualifications:
    • Revenue Cycle Management experience preferred
    • NetSuite experience preferred
    • Experience with Power BI or other data visualization software a plus
    • CPA a plus (even if inactive)
